LeLF was a registered charity, founded in 2002 to help all Lambeth residents access the  technologies which are changing the way that we live, work and learn.

Since then, we have worked with Primary and Secondary schools throughout Lambeth, applying for grant funding, helping with 'out of school' activities, training parents and community groups.

The Foundation took the decision to cease activities from April 2011 when continued funding was not forthcoming.

About Us

Lambeth e-Learning Foundation sadly closed down in April 2011. During the 10 years of active support to e-Learning in Lambeth its mission was to ensure that no-one was denied the learning opportunities or economic benefits that technology brings.  Lelf worked with schools, families, local organisations and community groups helping them to exploit the potential of technology.

In some schools we have helped provide funding for computers which pupils are able to use at home, as well as at school.  We also ensured that all families were able to use the computers effectively by having access to the internet.

In others we provided training and guidance for parent and carers.  Subjects we have covered include: using the internet safely, and supporting learning at home effectively.

In addition, we were affiliatedto the National e-Learning Foundation so that all schools in Lambeth could benefit from the support services on offer at the affiliated schools rate. The National e-Learning Foundation continues to provide support to schools and contact details can be found here.
